Pantheon Guitars announces the addition of the Bourgeois Short
Scale Slope D. This is the first guitar from Pantheon to feature
the popular shorter scale fretboard. The 25" scale imparts
a warm, full, sweet tone and a relaxed playability while
retaining the balance and note to note clarity found on all
Bourgeois guitars. Red "Adirondack" Spruce top
and Mahogany back and sides, Brazilian Rosewood headstock
veneer, Ebony fretboard and bridge, Maple bridge plate, and
Adirondack Spruce bracing. Additional features include
ivoroid binding, Bourgeois snakehead headstock, 1 23/32"
nut width, Nickel Waverly tuners with Ivoroid buttons and a
sunburst finish hand sprayed by Dana Bourgeois.
Dana Bourgeois still selects each piece of wood that goes into
building the 8 guitars a week from Pantheon's small shop in
Lewiston Maine.
