The Nashville NAMM SHOW.
July 17-19, 2009

We had a lot of great players and dealers come and visit at the 2009 Nashville NAMM show.  Wish we could have seen you all.  Four new models were introduced at this small show...we just couldn't wait.  We brought an O style, OO style, Small Jumbo and even a Parlor size in a coffin case!

The guitars were beautiful and well received.  You can see pictures of them here.  Below are pictures of some of our dealers, artists and friends that stopped by the booth.

Thanks for looking!

Flatpicking great Bryan Sutton stopped by to play the new guitars and to give us a copy of his new CD "Almost Live" !  Bryan used his trusty D-150 on the recording.

At one point we had Russ Barenburg, Bryan Sutton, Scott Fore, Brooks & Dunn guitar player, Tony King and Mike Fuller playing our guitars out in the hallway.  It was too noisy in the booth so we went out behind the lunchroom and sat around and played!

And, the day before the show, Danick Dupelle of "Emerson Drive" came up to Dana's room and played all the NAMM guitars.  Danick just got one of our very first OO's (Mah & Sitka) and loves it.

"Victoria" .  No. 5000.  In her own hand built  "coffin case".  This was a real show-stopper.  Learn about this milestone guitar for us here.

Bourgeois player Scott Nygaard.   Scott plays a rare Custom Country Boy Deluxe in Cocobolo.

Our new friend, Tony King of Brooks & Dunn couldn't make up his mind on his favorite at our booth.  I think he finally settled on the Small Jumbo.

We also got in a nice visit with Jack Pearson.  He adimired the new OO and noted that we finally had a guitar that was the perfect size for him.  Check out who this guy has played with.

And it is always great to hear our friend and Bourgeois endorser Scott Fore play our guitars.  Scott is one of the finest players in the world and we are proud that he loves his Bourgeois guitars.  Check out his Hillbilly HotClub at www.myspace.com/thehillbillyhotclub

We also need to thank our Japanese Distributor, Rokkomann International for believing in our guitars, and for working so hard to bring them to their part of the world.   The photos below show Dana and Shotaro Kido of Rokkomann.

We love our dealers.  We search high and low to find great shops that will take good care of our guitars and take the best care of you, our customers.  Here are some of the dealers that visited us.  They are the best!

Todd Skaw of Guitars, Etc in Longmont Colorado visited and had some fun with Dana:

And here are our friends from Artisan Guitars in Nashville.  Ellie, W.T. and Bill Warmoth host a great dinner on Thursday before the show starts.  They give us a wonderful home-cooked meal to fortify us for the show!  Ellie is the best cook I know!  And they've got a great store too!

(Ellie, W.T. Dana & Bill)

I didn't get pictures of all of our great dealers that stopped by.

We also saw our friend Pat Rutland from Rutland's Music in Valdosta Georgia.

And Wil and Julie from Spruce Tree Music in Wisconsin.  They took home the OMS Cutaway in Redwood & Figured Walnut beauty.

We also saw our old friend Mike Fuller from Fuller's Guitars in Texas.  Nice to see him!

Thanks for your interest in our guitars.  Support your local music store whenever possible and whatever else seems hard to do, keep playing!
