Music and More pickin' party.

Much Fun was had by all at the Music and More shop in Davie, Florida. Pantheon CEO, Patrick Theimer had a great visit with shop owner, Tom Snellgrove and several folks whom we know from the 13th Fret were on hand to try out several spanking new Bourgeois guitars.

Ed Corson, owner of the very first 13th Fret Limited Edition Bourgeois guitar was kind enough to let some buddies try it out. The guitar is a Padauk/Adirondack OMC with flamed maple binding and rosette.

We also brought along our first Deluxe Dreadnought. This guitar features a master-grade Adirondack spruce top, Indian Rosewood hand selected by Dana Bourgeois, Abalone top border and rosette, an ivoroid bound body, neck and headstock and Gold Waverly tuners.

We were happy to meet get a chance to meet these guys after months of chats on the 13th Fret. A big welcome to our new dealer, Music and More and a Special thanks to Tom Snellgrove for letting a bunch of guitar-crazed guys hang around his shop all day!

Bourgeois guitars is honored to be the choice guitar for some of the biggest players in Bluegrass, among them, Ricky Skaggs, Bryan Sutton, Del McCoury, Dan Tyminski and Ron Block of Union Station, and Sean Watkins of Nickel Creek. A big night was had by all of these players down in Louisville Kentucky last month at the 2001 International Bluegrass Music Association Awards. We'd like to congratulate them!

"O BROTHER" WINS ALBUM OF THE YEAR AT THE 2001 IBMA AWARDS; RHONDA VINCENT, DAN TYMINSKI EARN FOUR AWARDS EACH

Louisville, KY- The soundtrack from the film, O Brother, Where Art Thou, along with Rhonda Vincent & The Rage, and Union Station member Dan Tyminski, shared the bulk of the honors at the 12th Annual International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) Awards, held October 4th at the Kentucky Center for the Arts in Louisville, Kentucky. In addition to Dan Tyminski's Male Vocalist of the Year win for his participation on the soundtrack, the project was also honored with a Distinguished Achievement Award for filmmakers the Coen Brothers and soundtrack producer T Bone Burnett.

PANTHEON GUITARS AT THE NASHVILLE SUMMER NAMM SHOW.

The summer NAMM show in Nashville was the first for Bourgeois Guitars since joining forces with Pantheon Guitars. The booth was filled with beautiful guitars and lots of traffic. New dealers were opened and many old friends stopped by. We even made the cover of the trade show magazine, The Upbeat Daily!

We got to shake hands with our new friends, Alvin Deskins and Mike Morgan from Morgan Music in Lebanon Missouri, Les Haynie at Blue Moon Music in Fayettville Arkansas, Jeff & Eric Sullivan of 1st Quality Musical Supplies, and Eric Martin of Martin Guitars in Tennessee. We saw our old friends, Wil Bremer and Julie Luther of Spruce Tree Music in Madison, Wisconsin and had a great hang with Doug Abrahms, Eddie Berman and all the guys from The Music Loft/Indoor Storm, Raleigh NC. A big welcome to Acoustic Music in Guilford CT and to Rutlands Music in Remerton GA, we'll be sending them some guitars soon.

Pantheon Guitars teams with Pantene to support Pro-Voice Music Competition.

Pantheon Guitars was proud to participate in the Pantene Pro-Voice Music Competition (www.pro-voice.com). Founded in search of the next great female singer, this competition celebrated the art and inspiration of music. Accompanied by her band, The Wash, Libbie Schrader wowed the judges with a performance of "Blood Red Moon" to win the July 19 competition. Schrader and her band, "The Wash," performed their winning entry live onstage in front of thousands at the Pantene Pro-Voice Summer Showcase, a free concert which included performances by special musical guest Jewel, host of Pantene Pro-Voice and rising pop/R&B sensation Willa Ford and four other Pantene Pro-Voice finalists.The concert concluded with Pantheon Guitars' CEO, Patrick Theimer, on stage to present Jewel with a Bourgeois "PRO-Voice" custom cutaway.
