Bourgeois Guitars Represented During Reading of the Names Ceremony Commemorating  25th Anniversary of Vietnam Veterans Memorial

WASHINGTON , D.C. (November 9, 2007)--Bourgeois Guitars was honored to be represented during a special ceremony Wednesday at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial.  Rounder Records duo Dailey & Vincent joined singer/songwriter and former Statler Brother Jimmy Fortune for a moving performance of “More Than a Name on a Wall” during a ceremony that began the four-day reading of all 58, 256 names of the fallen inscribed on The Wall, commemorating the memorial’s 25th anniversary.  Fortune wrote “More Than a Name on a Wall,” which has been recorded by Dailey & Vincent on their upcoming Rounder debut.

This week’s event marks only the fourth time in the memorial’s history that all of the names on The Wall have been read aloud.  The reading takes 65 hours, and Dailey, Vincent and Fortune were honored to join the nearly 2,000 reading volunteers.
