The Bourgeois Archtops.
The A-350 is a carved, cutaway archtop that pairs the exceptional quality and workmanship of Bourgeois guitars with an outstanding price. Each piece is built by hand in Pantheon's Lewiston, Maine shop by Dana Bourgeois and his team of seven craftsmen. The elegant yet simply appointed, hand crafted instruments are individually signed by Dana Bourgeois.

We built some with a Kent Armstrong mini humbucker and some without. One dealer ordered his Blonde A-350 with koa binding, one has curly maple binding and the rest are tortoiseshell. We also built one A-500 for the ultimate in appointments...mother of pearl block inlay and Gold hardware throughout...

power and ease of playing.

Traditional appointments include a solid Premium Spruce top and solid Premium Curly Maple back and sides. The archtops feature the Bourgeois snakehead headstock and a three-piece Curly Maple neck.

Natural finished Maple back & sides and a lovely Premium spruce top. Tortoiseshell body binding looks great against the maple. This guitar comes with a gold plated mini humbucking Kent Armstrong pickup. The volume & tone are accessed by thumbwheels that protrude slightly from the pickguard. !

I usually decline--not so much out of wanting to maintain acoustic "purity", but mostly because pickups are so darn messy to install.Finally, I resolved to design an installation that wouldn't spoil the aesthetic appearance of my archtops, or their acoustic performance. I was so pleased with the result that I decided to offer a new electric model, the A-360, as a companion to the acoustic A-350.
