The A-350 is a carved, cutaway archtop that pairs the exceptional quality and workmanship of Bourgeois guitars with an outstanding price.  Each piece is built by hand in Pantheon's Lewiston, Maine shop by Dana Bourgeois and his team of seven craftsmen. The elegant yet simply appointed, hand crafted instruments are individually signed by Dana Bourgeois.

Known primarily for his stellar flattop guitars, Dana built his first archtop in 1982. Although production of these guitars has been limited, Bourgeois archtops are loved and played by various artists including Darren Vincent, guitarist with Ricky Skaggs.

Dana says: "I have always loved the sound of the acoustic archtop -guys like Eddie Lang and Carl Kress pulled great tone from those guitars. The archtop guitar and modern steel string guitar have common beginnings and have always influenced the development of each other. I am really excited about this guitar because I believe the archtop can offer guitarists one of the richest tone spectrums available with six strings!"

The Bourgeois A-350 Archtop is voiced and braced to be an acoustic instrument, and at 16 ¾" x 3", it is sized for a balance of tone, power and ease of playing.

Traditional appointments include a solid Premium Spruce top and solid Premium Curly Maple back and sides.  The Archtop features a Bourgeois snakehead headstock and a three-piece Curly Maple neck. The pickguard, tailpiece and fretboard are ebony and feature an elegant white purfling line. A violin colored finish has been applied to the back, sides and neck, while the spruce top features a fine, violin style sunburst. Both the body and neck on the A-350 have a high gloss finish. Gold Schaller tuners with ebony buttons and a premium hardshell case are also standard appointments.

Note the color differences between the sunbursts of the two guitars pictured at the top of the page.  Each sunburst in our shop is sprayed by hand and the colors vary depending on several factors including the color of the top.

Includes a Pantheon Guitars Limited Lifetime Warranty. A variety of optional tonewoods, appointments, hardware and finishes are also available.

These guitars are available at one of our fine retailers.
