Custom Bourgeois Guitars made especially for the 2009 Nashville NAMM
show.
We are experiencing a CREATIVE explosion during this, Dana's 35th year of
building guitars! We really are having our own small guitar
renaissance having just built the following:
O style
OO style
Parlor
and a new Small Jumbo that is yet to be named.
We want to give you more options. And we've worked hard to bring
you world of beautiful new shapes and sounds.
We had lots of Bourgeois Players stop by our booth in Nashville to check out the
new models including Bryan Sutton, Skip Cherryholmes (Cherryholmes), Scott Nygaard, flatpicking champ Scott Fore,
Danick Dupelle (Emerson Drive), Andy Day and the great Harvey
Reid.
Each NAMM guitar is
numbered and signed as Nashville NAMM 2008 instrument.

JOM Custom Cutaway. Bearclaw Adirondack &
Flamed Koa. Abalone
Rosette. Ziricote body binding with Soloist purflings and appointments. Tiny
dot inlay. Nickel Waverly tuners with Snakewood buttons.
And a set of handmade Fossil Ivory pins thrown in for no
extra
charge (because Dana thought they looked so beautiful).
The JOMC is Dana's own design and is one of the most versatile
instruments we build. This one is particularly nice.

#5007. Dana Bourgeois Signature OM in Premium Madagascar Rosewood and Premium Adirondack with Flamed Koa body binding. AND a beautiful "In-Between" Custom Sunburst.
Mad RW is frequently mistaken for Brazilian in both appearance
and tone. As a Signature model, Dana is careful to pick
the woods for tone but this one has it all -great looks and
great tone.We've made this one even more unique with a hand-sprayed by Dana Bourgeois burst. Certified Fossil Ivory Squares & Diamonds inlay. Gold Waverly tuners with Snakewood buttons, Bone pins and a premium pickguard.

#5005. Custom OM / Short Scale - ALL Mahogany top, back and sides.
NEW MODEL! We built the prototype for this guitar at the request of a good dealer
and we loved it. It sounds exactly like we thought it would. Warm and tubby and
makes you wanna play something different than what you usually
play.
All Premium Mahogany. 14 Fret, 25" short scale. Tortoise binding.
To round out the Vintage look: Ivoroid logo and dots (check it out),
Vintage style Waverly Tuners and a great price to match the perfect
simplicity of the design. Ziricote bridge to match the
Ziricote headstock veneer. Nice.
Notice the Ivoroid logo - vintage pattern dot inlays were used
to round out the look.

#5002. Vintage OO. NEW MODEL ! Adirondack &
Richly colored Indian
Rosewood. You might think
you don't want an Adi top on a 14 fret 25"scale 00.
That's what I thought. But,
then you probably don't know just how good Dana is at
picking out the right top for the right guitar. We were
curious about this combination but
it is really better than great. Incredibly comfortable to play
with a great big sound that stays sweet even when you play it
hard. This is the guitar that will make me
put down my 1959 00-18. I'm really excited about
it. Traditionally appointed exactly like a Vintage D.

MODEL! This
is in the category of Old dog; New tricks.
Rockin that Everly Brothers feel with
a nice tight rhythm sound . We thought it was gonna be great for Country
and
pop music. Turns out, it sounds great with country blues
fingerpicking and gets righteous when flatpicked. Ask
Scott Fore. Rich, clean and
loud. Another
hit at the show. Tony King of Brooks & Dunn couldn't

looking for something to cheer you
up, this might just be it. What a voice this little
guitar has. Just what the old tired arms needed to
hold. It was heralded at the show
by both Bryan Sutton and Scott Fore. Not a bad
