Eight Custom Bourgeois Guitars made especially for the 2008 Nashville NAMM show.  

It was a long, dreary winter in Maine this year. By March, when we started planning this year's NAMM guitars, Dana and the guys were ready for Spring. 
It shows in this collection. Madagascar, Panama Rosewood, our first Macassar Ebony, Brazilian, Pao Rosewood and a deeply quilted, Quilted Maple! We are excited.

Each is numbered and signed as Nashville NAMM 2008 instrument.

#4652. The "Panama Red" Vintage D. Panama Rosewood and Adirondack Spruce in HIDE GLUE. This is the second dread we've built out of Panama Rosewood. It is definately a Bluegrass beast. Loud. Punchy top and tight bottom. Traditional Square headstock. 1 23/32" nut width. Ivoroid/ Herringbone body binding. B/W Vintage rosette. Zig Zag backstrip. Squares & Diamonds inlay. Nickel Waverly tuners. Ivoroid heel cap & butt.  Panama Rosewood  is a Reddish colored tropical rosewood that leans towards Mad RW & Honduran RW in tonal qualities. #4654. DB Signature Dreadnought in Premium Brazilian Rosewood and Premium Adirondack with Flamed Koa body binding. Everyone loves the look of his new DB Herringbone purfling and rosette. The unique look is also enhanced by the rich Certified Fossil Ivory Squares & Diamonds inlay and nicely figured Brazilian headstock veneer. The ultimate fingerstyle guitar. This version features the Original Soloist Cutaway. Rosewood body binding with Soloist purflings. Soloist Wood rosette. Short patterned Squares & Diamonds inlay. Original Triangle heel inlay.  1 3/4" nut and Ebony pyramid bridge. #4651. Custom OM in Red "Adirondack" Spruce & Pao Rosewood. 50+ year old Rosewood . The guitars we have built from this tone wood have all been focused, complex and powerful examples of fine rosewood instruments. The show guitar is triple bound in Ivoroid on the head, neck and body like our 150 models.  It features Dana's Signature Herringbone Rosette Purfling and backstrip. The Short pattern Squares and Diamonds are of Certified Fossil Ivory and the Gold Waverly tuners show off the Snakewood buttons. #4660. Custom DBJC (cutaway). Redwood and Premium Indian Rosewood. The 16" small-jumbo has proven to be a fine model for the serious solo fingerstyle player and for the jazz players too. We dressed this one up for the show. The body, neck and headstock is bound in Ziricote and accented with tiny black and white pinstripe purfling. The Ebony snakehead headstock is set off by the Black buttons on the Gotoh 510 tuners. With 1 3/4" nut and 2 5/16" string spacing. #4659. Vintage JOM Custom. Madagascar Rosewood and Adirondack Spruce. The rest of the specs are the same as a Vintage D, Ivoroid & Herringbone binding, square headstock, Squares and diamonds inlay. Premium pickguard. The JOM body shape is Dana's own. The traditional Dreadnought specs give the guitar a recognizable look and then your customer is pleasantly suprised by the slightly smaller size with a very comfortable feel.
