NAMM GUITARS

8 Custom Bourgeois Guitars made especially for the 2003 Nashville NAMM show  held July 18-20, 2003. 

NAMM is a very creative time for us.  We get to build some of the special things that we have been day-dreaming about all year long.  The guitars built are basically the choice of our luthier, Dana Bourgeois--mostly one of a kind, with unique and beautiful custom details added to our stock models.

#5341. Custom OM-150.  Indian Rosewood/ Adirondack top.  Trimmed like our D-150 with abalone rosette and top border.  Pyramid Ivory bridge.  Triple bound ivoroid.  Squares and Diamonds inlay. Bone  pins.  Gold Waverly tuners.

"The Vintage OM with the Ivory bridge includes a incredible pyramid bridge carved from legal elephant ivory.  This pre-ban legal ivory is obtained  from estate auctions.  The ivory bridge is quite dense and hard and makes for a tone that gives a quick and very present response.  This is an unusual and elegant guitar.  We have made only a handful of guitars with the Ivory bridge. "

#5331. Bourgeois D-150.  Our very best dreadnought.  This one has a premium price on the Brazilian Rosewood as Dana deemed it wood that is above all others!! Adirondack Spruce top, triple bound ivoroid. Abalone rosette.  Squares and Diamonds inlay.   Bone pins and Gold Waverly tuners.  SOLD

#5332.  A-350 Archtop.  Our first pickup in an A-350.     European Spruce top.  Carved maple top and back.  Tortoise binding.   Dark sunburst on top, back and sides, side purfling, gold plated mini humbucking Kent Armstrong pickup.  Volume & tone are accessed by thumbwheels that protrude slightly from the pickguard. This guitar sounds great acoustically and plugged in.
