Eight
Custom Bourgeois Guitars made especially for the 2008
Anaheim NAMM
show.
NAMM gives us a great opportunity
to show off a little in front of our friends and peers.
Each guitar we bring has something a little extra about it whether
an exciting set of Figured Mahogany or another great tonewood
or a Prototype (we're bringing 2 to this show...one is a
suprise ) or some new binding or whatever we can dream
up.
We are proud of all of our
guitars but the NAMM guitars are for showing off (just a
little). And we do ! Each is
numbered and signed as NAMM 2008 instrument.

#4484
Custom DBJC. Bearclaw Italian Spruce and Presentation grade
old growth Brazilian Rosewood. This guitar is finally complete
! As you know, Brazilian Rosewood
is getting harder and harder to come by. We are delighted to
offer this beautiful guitar with it's stellar Brazilian set
and just as amazing Bearclaw Italian top. The X- Braced back
will suit the serious solo fingerstyle player with its power
to enhance sustain and to further smooth out the tone of this
guitar. The sound is quick and complex . With 1 3/4" nut
and 2 5/16" string spacing. Triple bound Curly koa on
body, neck and headstock, Brazilian head veneer and an abalone
rosette, unadorned ebony fretboard and bridge and Bone pins
with Abalone dots. Gold Waverly tuners with Snakewood
buttons. Here's what Dana says: “The DBJC came out great! It’s
an ideal guitar for serious solo fingerstyle players, with a
full, balanced tone, great definition and solid sustain. And a
huge dynamic range! A big, meaty tone for light-touch players,
and lots of clear headroom for thrashers. It’s really the
guitar I hoped it would be.” For more information, contact

Guitar Gallery PTE LTD in Singapore. SOLD

#4488 The BK (Banjo Killer) Slope D with
Pale Sunburst. Premium Bearclaw Sitka Spruce and Figured
Mahogany. This guitar was inspired by the famous guitar built
for Bryan Sutton that he named "The Banjo Killer".
Just like the original, it features Ivoroid body & neck
binding and an unbound Brazilian Rosewood Headstock veneer,
Ebony pins with Abalone dots. Brazilian Fingerboard and
Brazilian Belly bridge. This one features Dana's beautiful
Custom Pale Sunburst. Dana says: "
The BK Slope D has a deep, broad tone. Through wood selection
and voicing, we push it in the direction of a bigger bottom
end, a "lush" top end, and greater volume, similar
to the characteristics of Bryan's original BK. When I first
started making slope shouldered Dreadnoughts, I went for
something as different as possible from the balanced and
focused sound of my standard Dreadnought. The Banjo Killer
gets me back to that original idea."

Vista in New Mexico to hear all about this
