Bourgeois Guitars is pleased to offer a  series of instruments showcasing Dana's love of fine tonewoods and his personal sense of visual style. The Luthier's Choice Custom series (LCC) is a collection of guitars individually designed by Dana, featuring extraordinary tonewoods in one-of-a-kind custom packages.     

 

Some LCC guitars will display highly figured tonewoods, while other woods are selected for classic appearance. All will sound extraordinary. A few LCC's may be elaborately adorned. Others may emphasize simplicity and elegance. However packaged, Luthier's Choice Custom guitars represent Dana's finest creative efforts, tonal and visual, refined over a thirty-year career.

The Luthier's Choice Custom series offers an opportunity to expand my creative horizons, unencumbered by everyday constraints. I'm looking forward to making a few really spectacular guitars, not to mention having a lot of fun."

At the Bourgeois shop, Dana ensures quality of execution by maintaining close hands-on involvement in the creation of every guitar.  From selection of all materials to personally voicing each instrument.  With the LLC he will add his gift for the perfect balance between art and playability.  

Luthier's Choice Custom series guitars are offered from time to time as material availability, demand, and inspiration allow. A description of each new LCC guitar is posted on the Bourgeois website as it is built.
